Hello, my name is Elizabeth (Liz) Allwood and I am the Club Growth Director (GCD) for our District. My main responsibilities are all aspects of marketing, building new clubs, retaining existing clubs, and identifying and assisting struggling clubs to become Distinguished clubs. Public Relations Manager (PRM)Stephan Barrie

Stephan reports directly to the Club Growth Director. The primary role of the PRM is to keep members informed of our D73 activities, news, and events, together with informing the local community of club news and member achievements. This enhances the public’s awareness of our organisation and our members. We are fortunate this year to have a fabulous team behind our Public Relations Manager to help make this all happen.

 

Communications Manager – Deborah Hynes

Deborah reports directly to the District Director (DD) and PRM and liaises directly with all district leaders to find out what needs to be communicated and by when. Deborah is responsible for communications sent from the District leaders with the exception of the D73 News. A large part of the Communications Manager’s role is to co-ordinate the monthly updates across the District’s various teams.

 

Webmaster – Thoai Nguyen

Thoai reports directly to the DD and CGD, actioning updates to the D73 Website. The Webmaster plays an important role in maintaining the D73 website. This involves posting district announcements, removing outdated content, and troubleshooting functionality issues. The D73 website will continue to improve and become dynamic.

 

Events Manager – Hannah Barrett

Hannah reports directly to the PRM. Her role entails ensuring all events occurring across the District are promoted accordingly by ensuring the D73 Calendar and Events page on the website are up to date.  Hannah works closely with our Newsletter Editor to ensure details of events are included in Newsletters, with our Communications Manager to ensure that notifications of events may be emailed to members, and with our Social Media Manager to ensure that relevant information may be published onto Facebook and Twitter.  If you have an event occurring in your club, area, or division, please email Hannah at

 

Newsletter Editor – Viranga Ratnaike

Viranga reports directly to the PR Manager and liaises with pretty well everyone in the District leadership team. His primary role is to source appropriate articles for the D73 NEWS. Viranga is always looking for contributions, so feel free to send your news articles or personal interest stories to

 

Social Media Manager – Frances Nolan

Frances reports directly to our PR manager. She has responsibility for the support, monitoring, and maintenance of the district social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

 

Brand Manager – Skye Nolan

Visual Manager – Kathy Ismail

Kathy reports to our PR Manager and liaises with everyone in the PR team. Kathy’s responsibilities are sourcing still photographs that contribute to our District website and all other publications, as well as ensuring that we adhere to TI rules and local legislation with regard to copyright.

 

Database Manager – David Martin

David, you guessed it, reports to our PR Manager and liaises with the PR team all the time. David’s role is pivotal to the success of our members, as we want to ensure email quality not quantity. David will ensure that information is correct and eliminate duplication of entries, along with many other tasks that happen behind the scenes.
