Maribel, a Toastmaster for nearly 3 years, says she has truly gained many presentation skills (and keeps perfecting those skills) by regular attendance at the Glen Waverley Toastmasters club.  In particular, her confidence as a professional storyteller has increased and her presentation style as an Educator has sharpened as she has learned to pace her presentations, include vocal variety, humour and unexpected theatrical gestures too!

Here is recent feedback that proves being a Toastmaster really does work to convey a message with impact and eloquence:

‘Students were able to ask Maribel Steel many questions which were answered in  a respectful, considered and educational manner. No question was seen as irrelevant as Maribel is clearly an eloquent advocate keen to share and train others in understanding disability.’

It’s always nice to hear how our members are going and we enjoy highlighting the progress and changes which inevitably occurs during our Toastmasters journey.  Well done Maribel!
